Everything I wished I had been taught when I started off as a PM
I started off as a PM in 2013. I learnt a lot of stuff since then. But it wasn't always the most efficient process: self-teaching, reading online blogs, asking colleagues for advice. Back then, there was no PM bootcamp or online course. Neither was there any centralized knowledge base where you could find all the resources you need.

So I've gathered everything I've learnt over the past 7 years and structured it in a digestible way. I've split it into 6 chapters. Every time something seems too conceptual to me, I've added my own illustrations and examples, useful links, and my personal two cents.

If you want to learn everything you need to start your PM career with a solid foundation, this course is for you.

THE AUTHOR
Hello, my name is Lucas
I’ve been a product manager since 2013 and a product designer since 2017. I worked for several startups adn tech companies, including PayPal, BlaBlaCar and PayFit.

There is so much content about product management out there. It can feel daunting and challenging to figure out what’s relevant and what’s not.

Over the past 7 years, I have come to understand what most startups are looking for in a product manager. I did the work of identiying all the important stuff, while ruling out what’s not necessary. I also took time to simplify all the jargon. There is so much unnecessarily complicated stuff you can read out there.

Lastly, I’ve gathered all my best practices in a few slide templates. They will be incredibly helpful if you begin if your job and need guidance in structuring your thoughts to your colleagues or clients.
